Here is the maths challenge puzzle for this week, good luck! The puzzle updates automatically each week. For older puzzles, look at the Puzzle Archive which contains each week's puzzle for this year.Remember to tackle the level that you feel comfortable with. To start with you may find it best to stick with the easy puzzles, then gradually build up over time to the harder ones.
Advanced users can move straight to the advanced puzzle which is quite hard - try to complete all those calculations in a minute and if you do it, then your mental arithmetic is of very good quality.
To check the answers either do the calculation again on paper, or simply type it into a calculator and verify your answer. If you go wrong, then try to work out where you made the mistake. Over time if you identify that you are particularly likely to go wrong on a certain type of calculation, then try to practice that type more than the others for added benefit and improvement.
